Technology Refresh Plan: SDR will provide end-to-end lifecycle management of IT components. The Technology Refresh Plan will provide the customer with the variances between existing technology and the recommended technology that is required to meet the business needs. As technology evolves SDR will evaluate the features of the new technology and provide a business case for the implementation. The Technology Refresh Plan will also provide the customer an estimated yearly operating cost for budgeting purposes.

System Redeployment: The Hardware Asset Management Plan and Software License Tracking Plan will enable SDR to determine if the redeployment of assets is possible within the organization. The system redeployment will also provide for the deployment of technology where required (power users with newer desktops and re-deployed technology to users with lower requirements).

Asset Disposition: SDR will assist with sale or disposal of all outdated assets. Where assets have potential resale value, SDR will ensure that a fair market value is obtained. For assets that have little or no value, SDR will assist with the transfer of these assets to an external organization (Schools, Non-Profit Organizations, etc.) or the disposal of these assets based on the corporate policies.
